The other day, my Mom and me decided to go checking up on what the men were doing. We strolled down to the mill where they were working on the grader. As we got closer, we heard Paul Vetter and my Dad laughing so loud. We looked at each other, and Mom wondered what brought that on; she commented on how good it was to hear dad laugh like that. They stood there, laughing and laughing; they could only sa....

Because, the children eat with the adults, things can sometimes get quite interesting. At some meals, one little boy will get it into his head to show off for everyone, no matter how many times he's asked to sit down, he will still keep at it. Another day, half the school children and 'buem' have to line up and get 'flogged', because they haven't cut their hair short enough (Apparently it's required in school that your hair be kept quite short). They use a cane. The older the boys get, the louder it whistled through the air, and goes 'tuck' on ....

On April 23, 2006, all baptized brothers and sisters of Palmgrove were able to take the Lord's Supper in peace, with reverence and joy. The days leading up to it were a learning experience for me. I was able to see how people can once again amend their ways and strive to live together in unity and harmony. It was a very lovely picture!
